Little Cayman is the perfect backdrop for The Digital Shootout, and why we keep returning! Not only is the diving spectacular, but the Little Cayman Beach Resort continually exceeds our expectations as hosts. The accommodations and quality of food far surpass what you typically get at dive resorts, and a frequent guest “complaint” is that they are going home several pounds heavier.
The Digital Shootout is a very special event. Not only is there uncomparable camaraderie that occurs between like-minded underwater photographers from the moment you arrive, but it is a “family get-together”, with many repeat guests year after year. LEARNING is the focus of the week-long event (there is also a pre-event week, more casual and loosely structured), with FUN as the secondary focus.
Our 8th year as staff of this truly amazing event, Joel and I are honored to be able to share what we’ve learned with other underwater image-makers.
Along with being on-site staff responsible for event coverage (still photos above and below water, video above and below water, aerial stills and video) and nightly slideshows, Newmediasoup designs and develops the website, including the logo.
