The Digital Shootout is a week-long event for underwater photographers wanting to take their skills to the next level. It combines world-class diving and professional instruction in image taking and image editing. Add to that, the largest selection of underwater imaging demo gear and a friendly competition with prizes totaling over $30,000. It’s the ultimate working vacation!
Part of the Shootout team since 2009, Joel & Jen have a myriad of jobs, from creation of SWAG and event banners, interaction with guests and customer service, an informal training session called Modeling For Your Dive Buddy conducted 4 times during the week, production of nightly slideshows, week-long event coverage for the web site including our own underwater images, asset management of team’s text and images for inclusion in the web site, writing and editing content for the web site. Gear Tests is a section where the industry’s pros put the latest underwater imaging gear to the test, then report their findings and recommendations.
